Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Roofdecko, operated by Betterify Digital ("we", "us"), based in Curaçao. By creating an account or using the service you agree to these Terms.

1. The service

Roofdecko lets you measure roofs and design solar layouts from drone photos. Outputs are estimates for planning and quoting and are not a substitute for a professional site survey, structural assessment, or licensed electrical/engineering design. You are responsible for verifying all measurements and designs before relying on them.

2. Accounts

You must provide an accurate email and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 16 and able to form a binding contract.

3. Acceptable use

Do not misuse the service: no unlawful content, no infringing others' rights, no attempts to disrupt or reverse-engineer the service, and no uploading data you have no right to use.

4. Plans, billing & Merchant of Record

Roofdecko offers a Free plan and a paid Pro plan. Payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited ("Paddle"), which acts as the Merchant of Record / authorised reseller for all purchases. This means Paddle is the seller for your transaction and handles billing, invoicing, and applicable taxes (e.g., VAT/sales tax). Your purchase is also subject to Paddle's Buyer Terms. Subscriptions renew until cancelled.

5. Refunds & cancellation

You can cancel anytime; access continues until the end of the paid period. As Paddle is the Merchant of Record for your purchase, refunds are handled in accordance with Paddle's Buyer Terms; you can request a refund through Paddle or by contacting us, and we will assist.

6. Your content

You retain ownership of the photos and project data you upload. You grant us a limited licence to store and process them solely to provide the service. You are responsible for having the rights to any imagery you upload.

7. Our IP

The Roofdecko software, design, and brand are owned by us. These Terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive right to use the service.

8. Disclaimers & liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for decisions made in reliance on estimates produced by the tool. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

9. Termination

You may stop using and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Curaçao, and disputes are subject to the courts of Curaçao. This does not deprive consumers of mandatory protections they have under the law of their country of residence.
